SO.CAL ZOMBIEWALK RULES MUST BE INFORCED.
In order to make our up coming Walks a success and enable us to continue the Walks in the future, we must have some ground-rules…So here they are!

SoCal ZombieWalk Rules:

1. No touching
2. No Drinking
3. Show up on time
4. Walk as a group
5. Be real!

SoCal ZombieWalk GROUND RULES! :

First off, you are responsible for your own actions, not me or anyone else!  Please do not act out of order and cause our walk to be cancelled.  If law enforcement stops us and requests that we shut it down, the Walk must be shut down immediately.  

Remember, We Are All One and No One Person is in Charge.  

Never, ever touch, bother or ‘scare’ anyone during the walk.  Those types of actions can be considered “harassment” [Harassment is defined as "a course of conduct directed at a specific person that causes substantial emotional di stress in such a person and serves no legitimate purpose".] or even “assault” [Assault: A crime that occurs when one person tries to physically harm another in a way that makes the person under attack feel immediately threatened. Actual physical contact is not necessary; threatening gestures that would alarm any reasonable person can constitute an assault.].  If you act like you are going to “attack” someone, technically, that is assault or harassment – so, DO NOT suddenly lunge, scare or pretend to attack a stranger.  This is the general public you are dealing and NOT a haunted house attraction that people paid to be scared at! You have no idea if the person you try to “scare” is a money-hungry attorney!  The Walk is PERFORMANCE ART and you simply must look and walk like a brain-dead zombie (without the actions of actually attacking anyone to eat their brains!).
 
Please do not touch anything!  Do not touch cars, buildings, windows, store fronts, etc. during the walk! Do not bring any weapons (i.e., knives or guns).  Please stay in character at all times, BUT KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF.

We must always walk on the sidewalk and NEVER in the street. Aside from you possibly getting a jay walking ticket from the police, the walk will end if this rule isn't followed. Please be safe and follow all laws and signs posted along the walk just as any pedestrian would do.  Common life rules apply to the living dead, too! Again, we are a type of performance art.... Not a Parade!  

To be part of the walk you must come dressed as a "ZOMBIE". If you come with a zombie and are not dressed up you must walk behind the group and not get mixed in with the crowd of the UNdead!

Please take note: this is an "all ages" walk, so please keep the language kid friendly at all times!  However if you are under age...your parent or guardian should be present – this is NOT a babysitting service!  Your parent/guardian needs to know that they are in charge of you and no one from the walk is in charge of anyone else!

PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP INTOXICATED.   If you plan on drinking before coming to the walk, please do not even bother attending the event. You will be asked to leave if you show up drunk or wasted!

Every Zombie that takes part in the Walk must be on time for the reading of the "RULES"and follow these rules or you WILL be asked to leave!

Remember  to stay in character  at all times during the Walk!
